A major controversy has erupted online after celebrity gossip influencer Aqababe made explosive allegations regarding Manon and her current situation inside KATSEYE.

The accusations surfaced while fans continue demanding answers about Manon’s ongoing hiatus, which has now lasted for months without any detailed update from HYBE. Because of the company’s silence, online speculation surrounding Manon’s future in the group has already been growing rapidly — but Aqababe’s claims pushed the situation into an entirely new level of controversy.

According to the influencer, Manon allegedly faced unfair treatment connected to both her skin color and hair type. Aqababe claimed the idol received an unfavorable contract compared to expectations and further alleged there was serious internal tension within the group itself.

Aqababe then stated these incidents were part of the reason Manon supposedly no longer wanted to remain in KATSEYE.

The accusations immediately exploded across social media platforms including X, TikTok, Reddit, and Korean online forums. Clips discussing the allegations quickly went viral, while hashtags connected to Manon began trending internationally.

Many fans expressed concern over the seriousness of the claims, especially because discussions surrounding Manon’s hiatus had already intensified in recent weeks. Some supporters argued that HYBE’s continued silence has only fueled speculation further.

Others pointed toward Manon’s recent social media activity as another reason fans are becoming increasingly worried. Before joining KATSEYE, Manon was active on her personal TikTok account, which had previously been private. Fans recently noticed that the account was reopened with nearly all of its content removed, alongside changes to her username and profile activity. Some also noticed she quietly removed contact information from her Instagram account.
