Group BTS is expanding the scale of its urban cultural festival ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG (hereafter referred to as THE CITY ARIRANG)’ globally.
According to an announcement made through the fan community Weverse on the 20th, this special project is set to color the cities of Las Vegas, U.S. in the upcoming May and Busan, South Korea in June.

‘THE CITY ARIRANG’ is a large-scale spatial project that combines BTS’s musical narrative with media art across the host cities. It first opened its gates in Seoul on the 20th of last month, coinciding with the comeback of their fifth studio album ‘Arirang.’ Now, the project will adapt its programs to each city’s unique characteristics, creating synergy with the local areas while continuously offering fresh experiences.
The Las Vegas event will run from May 20 to 31, local time. Notably, it will coincide with the four dates of their world tour (May 23–24 and 27–28) at Allegiant Stadium, maximizing synergy effects.

Collaborations with local brands will also provide abundant entertainment. Starting on the 20th, stays at the BTS-themed ‘IP Hotel’ will begin, along with F&B collaborations with global food and beverage companies, and official after-parties at popular clubs to keep the excitement alive through the night.
The visual spectacle is expected to be overwhelming. The ‘Strip,’ Las Vegas’s iconic tourist and commercial district, and major landmarks symbolizing the city will be draped in vibrant red lighting, the main color of the new album. Large electronic billboards will also display welcoming messages for BTS. Additionally, key spaces will be transformed into stages for ‘THE CITY ARIRANG.’
