The couple made a surprise appearance at Stade de France on July 17, attending the opening night of BTS’ Arirang World Tour stop in France from a VIP section overlooking the sold-out stadium.
Photos and videos of the Macrons quickly spread across social media after fans noticed them holding BTS’ signature light sticks, known as ARMY Bombs. One clip that went viral showed Brigitte Macron smiling as she tried to switch on her interactive light stick before the concert began, delighting fans both inside the stadium and online.
