The final night of BTS’ European tour became an emotional farewell as Jungkook was overcome with emotion, breaking down in tears throughout the closing moments of the group’s concert at Stade de France in Paris.

According to footage shared by fans, Jungkook began crying while addressing the audience near the end of the concert. Despite repeatedly lowering his head and wiping away tears, he was unable to regain his composure. During those brief breaks, the members also had to travel, rehearse, and prepare new stages before heading to the next city.

Despite completing the European tour, BTS have little time to rest.

Immediately after finishing the Paris concerts, the group departed for the United States to prepare for one of the biggest performances of their career: the first-ever halftime show in FIFA World Cup Final history, scheduled for July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium.

BTS are set to appear alongside an all-star lineup that includes Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus in collaboration with Coldplay.

According to previews released by Global Citizen, BTS are expected to perform “Permission to Dance,” the group’s 2021 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit. The song’s uplifting message and choreography incorporating sign language gestures representing joy, dancing, and peace have been highlighted as fitting the event’s global theme of unity.
