As Dutton Ranch races toward the end of its debut season, Paramount+ has confirmed that only one episode remains before the first chapter of Beth and Rip’s new adventure comes to a close. The season finale is scheduled to premiere on Friday, July 3, wrapping up what has become one of the biggest additions to Taylor Sheridan’s expanding Yellowstone universe.

Unlike most Sheridan series—including Landman, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and 1923, which typically release on Sundays—Dutton Ranch has followed a unique Friday release schedule, giving it its own spotlight each week on Paramount+.

The series has quickly established itself as the most direct continuation of Yellowstone since the flagship drama ended in 2024. While Marshals follows Kayce Dutton into an entirely different style of story, Dutton Ranch picks up the lives of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, exploring what happens after they leave Montana behind to begin a new chapter on a Texas ranch.

That change of scenery has become one of the show’s defining elements. Rip struggles to adapt to the unfamiliar landscape and culture of Texas, while Beth remains exactly who fans remember—fearless, confrontational, and unwilling to let anyone stand in her way. Her refusal to back down has fueled much of the season’s conflict, especially after a powerful neighboring ranch owner, portrayed by Academy Award nominee Annette Bening, begins challenging her authority.
