While Beth Dutton found herself locked in a tense political and business battle with Beulah Jackson and the powerful Ten Petal Ranch, Rip largely remained in the background, responding to threats rather than creating them. The biggest clue comes from Rip’s recent decision to place Azul and Zachariah inside Ten Petal Ranch.

On the surface, the move appeared simple. Both men were given opportunities to work within Beulah Jackson’s expanding operation, seemingly as part of normal ranch business. However, many viewers believe there is a much deeper strategy behind the decision.

Fans have increasingly speculated that Rip is not merely helping trusted allies find employment. Instead, he may be planting eyes and ears inside the very organization that has become the greatest threat to Beth and the Dutton family.
