On the 23rd at 9 p.m., BTS released the first episode of their self-produced variety content ‘Run BTS 2.0’ on their official team channel and the global superfan platform Weverse. The episode captured the seven members enjoying relaxation together and strengthening their bond. The group’s unwavering chemistry after reuniting as a complete unit for the first time in a while, along with their upgraded comedic timing, shone brightly.

Members arriving at the dormitory in the middle of the night immediately dove into a ‘room assignment game.’ In a situation where they had to choose rooms based solely on instinct, one by one in order, psychological battles unfolded among the members. Four members rushed into a two-person room at once, screaming, while Jungkook took the most comfortable three-person room alone, creating a mix of joy and frustration that brought big laughs to viewers.

After meals, a ‘zombie game’ played for cleanup duties turned the scene into chaos. Members turned into zombies, with eye masks covering their eyes, searched for citizens in awkward postures and abandoned their ‘World Star’ charisma to showcase desperate physical comedy. ‘Run BTS’ is BTS’s representative self-produced content, first introduced in 2015. After entering a hiatus following a special content release in 2023, it resumed after approximately three years.
