During the final recording, Yoo Seon-ho became emotional while reflecting on his time with the cast and crew. Calling the program “my entire 20s,” he described the experience as something he would “never forget for the rest of my life.”
Traveling across Korea through the show, forming close bonds with the cast members, and growing in front of viewers became a defining chapter of his career. Yoo Seon-ho especially expressed gratitude toward his fellow members, saying he was thankful to have gained “reliable older brothers” who would remain in his life even after leaving the program.
His humble farewell message also touched many fans online. He shared appreciation for viewers who supported him despite what he described as being “someone like me, who is nobody,” a comment that quickly sparked emotional reactions from longtime fans of the show.

Yoo Seon-ho first joined the program in December 2022, becoming the first cast member born in the 2000s in the history of 2 Days & 1 Night. At the time, many viewers were curious whether the young actor could adapt to the chaotic chemistry and physically demanding nature of the legendary variety series.
However, over time, he became known for his sincere personality, awkward-yet-charming humor, and surprisingly competitive spirit during games and missions. Fans especially enjoyed watching the older members tease him as the “youngest child” of the cast while also genuinely caring for him behind the scenes.

Although he initially entered the show as the inexperienced maknae, many viewers feel Yoo Seon-ho gradually matured throughout his run, growing more confident and comfortable in variety entertainment. His chemistry with the cast became one of the emotional anchors of the current season.
The production team also shared a heartfelt statement thanking him for his contributions to the show. They praised Yoo Seon-ho for bringing youthful energy to the program and said they would continue supporting his future career, especially as he expands his activities as an actor.

Following the announcement, many fans expressed sadness online, calling his departure “the end of an era” for the current lineup. Others noted that the cast chemistry may feel noticeably different without the youngest member balancing the group dynamic.
At the same time, viewers are already speculating about whether the show will recruit a new younger cast member or continue with the current team for the time being.
As Yoo Seon-ho prepares to close this chapter, fans are expected to closely watch his final episode, which could become one of the most emotional farewells 2 Days & 1 Night has had in recent years.
