Speaking about the challenges of returning to the series, Saldaña explained that Sheridan continues to surprise the cast with new obstacles and deeper character conflicts. Among the newcomers is Ian Bohen, a familiar face to fans of Sheridan’s television universe. After portraying ranch hand Ryan on Yellowstone for five years, Bohen returns to Sheridan’s world as Grady, a Delta Force operator and K9 handler. His character is described as a disciplined, by-the-book soldier with strong battlefield skills, bringing a new military presence to Joe’s team.
