Nearly the entire main cast of Taylor Sheridan’s hit Paramount+ series Landman is receiving significant pay raises ahead of Season 3, which is expected to begin filming in Fort Worth in late August. According to Deadline, the salary bumps reflect the show’s strong performance, growing popularity, and the value the cast brings to the series.
Billy Bob Thornton, who stars as Tommy Norris, already had a three-year deal with standard year-to-year increases in place and will not see an immediate change. However, if the series is renewed for Season 4, Thornton is expected to return to the negotiating table.
After playing a supporting role for much of Season 1, Demi Moore saw her part as Cami Miller expand significantly in Season 2. She will now earn approximately $740,000–$750,000 per episode, putting her in the same range as Thornton. Ali Larter, who plays Angela Norris, is the next highest earner heading into Season 3 at $350,000 per episode — more than double her previous salary.
Jacob Lofland (Cooper) and Michelle Randolph (Ainsley) have doubled their salaries to around $130,000–$180,000 per episode. The rest of the main cast, including Paulina Chávez (Ariana), Kayla Wallace (Rebecca), Mark Collie (Sheriff Walt), and James Jordan (Dale), also received substantial percentage increases, though exact figures were not disclosed.
Sam Elliott and Andy Garcia, who were added to the main cast in Season 2, will factor into future salary negotiations.
Landman is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.” The second-season synopsis reads: “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes.
