South Korean singer and actress IU is gaining attention once again after sharing her honest and thoughtful views on love during a behind-the-scenes interview for the drama Perfect Crown.

On May 12, a video titled “Tears Over the News of This Week’s Finale… Behind the Scenes of ‘Perfect Crown’” was uploaded to IU’s YouTube channel, “Lee Ji-geum.” The video featured emotional filming moments from the drama’s latest episodes, along with candid conversations between IU and the production staff.

In the series, IU plays Seong Hui-ju, a woman born into a powerful chaebol and military family. One of the most emotional scenes showed Hui-ju’s contract marriage being exposed to the public. As the scandal spirals out of control, Hui-ju desperately begs her father for help in protecting Grand Prince Ian, the man she loves.
