Couple’s first public appearance at Gaon Soloists’ concert three years after marriage
Actor Song Joong-ki will attend his first joint public event with his wife, Katie Louise Saunders, three years after their marriage.
Song Joong-ki and Katie will attend the 7th regular concert “Children’s Scenes” by Gaon Soloists at the Seoul Arts Center Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) Chamber Hall in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 18th.
During the first half of the performance, the couple is scheduled to read alongside ensemble members for works by French composers, and musical actor Kim So-hyun will also attend to perform songs.
Founded in 2021, Gaon Soloists is an integrated chamber music group where musicians with and without disabilities collaborate on stage. It is reported that the couple initially reached out through acquaintances to participate in the event.
Gaon Soloists’ representative Kang Ja-yeon said, “I had heard that they are people who do a lot of good deeds, and they contacted us after learning about our performance through acquaintances. It was a great honor for us.”
Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki married Katie Louise Saunders in 2023 and has one son and one daughter.
