THE most anticipated TV show in the world has been plunged into explosive behind-the-scenes turmoil — with wild reports of near-fistfights, firing sprees, and high-stakes jealousy threatening to blow the entire franchise to smithereens.

Crackling tensions reached a boiling point before the show even hit screens, as original showrunner Chad Feehan was ruthlessly SACKED. Feehan, who was tasked with guiding the high-budget production, reportedly clashed bitterly with headliners Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, as well as veteran crew members who had worked on the original Yellowstone saga for nearly a decade.

“Nobody was happy with how things were being run, so he got the boot,” an insider spilled. “Working in this franchise isn’t for the faint-hearted — if you can’t handle the heat, you’re out!”

COWBOY MEETS SURFER

Replacing showrunners, however, hasn’t stopped the bleeding. The biggest, most dangerous explosive on set is the toxic rivalry between the franchise’s mastermind creator, Taylor Sheridan, and leading man Cole Hauser.

Sources claim the duo nearly came to fists on set during a series of fiery rows — and it isn’t even the first time they’ve almost traded blows.

Set insiders describe their explosive dynamic as “classic California versus Texas”.

Sheridan, 56, is a brutally direct, straight-shooting Texan who demands total control and zero complaints. Hauser, 51, is a laid-back Santa Barbara surfer-type who isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

“They are complete oil and water,” a set source revealed. “Taylor can be very harsh and super blunt, and he expects actors to stay in line. Cole is a relaxed guy, but he has been frustrated with how things were being handled. When those two heads collide, sparks don’t just fly — it’s an absolute fireworks display!”

The bitter feud only deepened after Hauser publicly admitted that Sheridan’s lack of hands-on presence during Season 1 created total chaos. Sheridan was reportedly furious that Hauser sounded the alarm publicly, taking it as a direct betrayal.

Add to that an old legal war over coffee! The two previously fought out a nasty courtroom duel when Sheridan’s coffee brand sued Hauser’s rival coffee company over a logo dispute before quietly settling out of court.

And Tinseltown insiders claim there might even be a green-eyed monster lurking beneath Sheridan’s harsh exterior.

“Taylor tried to be a big-time actor when he first came to Hollywood and didn’t make it as far as he wanted,” one insider claimed. “Cole, on the other hand, is a complete natural in front of the lens. He’s got the rugged looks, the effortless camera presence, and he plays the hero effortlessly. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if there was a bit of envy there!”

Despite the ongoing bad blood, Hauser knows who holds the purse strings. “Cole knows Taylor made him a superstar, so he usually backs down fast after a blowout and apologizes,” the source added. “He knows Taylor could write him off the show anytime he wants!”

This isn’t the first time Sheridan has locked horns with his leading men. Original Yellowstone icon Kevin Costner famously walked away from the flagship show after a bitter, public fallout with Sheridan over scheduling and creative direction.
