“Sullivan’s Crossing” has undergone some big changes lately, but the Canadian romance drama isn’t going anywhere.
Season 5 of “Sullivan’s Crossing” is set to begin production in Nova Scotia later this summer. It will premiere on the CW in 2027. The renewal news comes after series creator Roma Roth stepped down as head writer and showrunner earlier this month. “Diggstown” creator Floyd Kane is replacing Roth, who will remain an executive producer on the show.
“The creative differences were becoming untenable and I just sadly realized that the show was not something that I could agree to continue,” he wrote. “It’s unfortunate that it is now being implied that they moved on from me/Sully when the fact is the complete opposite, and those who sadly already have spoken out are also fully aware of this fact, and yet chose to say otherwise.”
