DUTTON RANCH DRAMA – ED HARRIS PROMPTS A RESPONSE FROM TAYLOR SHERIDAN, BUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IS SHOCKING! Ed Harris’s comments regarding his role as Everett McKinney in *Dutton Ranch* have unexpectedly thrust the show’s behind-the-scenes dynamics into the spotlight. Yet, what has truly piqued fans’ curiosity is Taylor Sheridan’s reaction once those remarks reached him. Far from signaling the end of Everett’s story, all signs suggest the character might be poised for a more significant role in Season 2. We could be looking at a deeper conflict, a major storyline, and perhaps even a role that audiences never saw coming. Could Ed Harris’s own dissatisfaction have inadvertently paved the way for Everett McKinney to land his biggest storyline yet?

“Dutton Ranch” co-creator Taylor Sheridan is reportedly “pissed” about Ed Harris’ rant about his “inconsequential” role on the western spinoff.

“Ed Harris will remain on the show and his role will get even bigger,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“He is getting more time even though he pissed Taylor Sheridan off with his comments. But Taylor does what he says he is going to do; a promise is a promise,” the insider added.

“He is getting more time even though he pissed Taylor Sheridan off with his comments,” a source told the Daily Mail. (Pictured: Sheridan in 2022.)

“He will give Ed more screen time like he initially said. So, Ed can shut up now.”

The source said Harris, who plays veterinarian Everett McKinney in the “Yellowstone” spinoff series, “made himself look like he has a really big ego, which he obviously does.”

“He can be prickly. But he’s great on screen, so there’s that,” the insider claimed.

Page Six has reached out to Harris’ rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

In a scathing interview with Variety last month, Harris revealed he was “frustrated” with his role on “Dutton Ranch” and had asked his team to “get him the f–k out of” the series “midway through” filming Season 1.

“I felt a little bit misled,” the “Truman Show” star — who did not name-drop Sheridan, 56 — confessed at the “Dink” premiere in Los Angeles.

“Prior to signing on for it, I was talked to quite a bit about what the season was and what my character was going to do — and that I was one of the four main characters,” the 75-year-old claimed. “And that wasn’t really the case.”

Harris claimed his concerns were shrugged off when he brought up feeling “inconsequential” on the Paramount+ show.

The “Radio” actor said he was “really pissed off” when a scene he’d been promised was ultimately cut.

“They didn’t show it. They said it was too up for the dark ending of that episode. That, to me, was reason enough to say, ‘I’m voiding my contract,’” the Oscar nominee told the outlet.

“I [was like], ‘F–k you people,’” he continued. “That’s all I’ve got to say.”

Despite the drama, Harris is currently signed on for Season 2, which begins filming next year.

FINN LITTLE EXPLAINS WHY CARTER CALLED BETH A “LIAR” — A DEEP WOUND THAT FINALLY FORCED HIM TO SPEAK OUT! Finn Little recently opened up about the emotionally charged confrontation between Carter and Beth Dutton following the devastating events at Dutton Ranch. Carter was furious not only because Beth and Rip decided to put down the entire herd, but also because he was deliberately sent away so he would not have to witness what was happening. According to Finn, what Carter truly wanted was to be taken seriously, especially as Beth and Rip were beginning to prepare him for a future in which he could eventually take on greater responsibility at the ranch. Being excluded from such a major decision — one that directly affected his family and his future — left Carter feeling disrespected and treated like a child who still needed to be protected. And that was the moment the word “liar” finally came out. It wasn’t simply an angry argument with Beth — it was a teenager’s desperate act of defiance as he fought to have a say in his own future.
