The most unforgettable part of BTS’s long-awaited return to Mexico may not have been the stage effects or choreography — it was the sound of an entire stadium singing together as one.

During the group’s three-night run of the BTS World Tour “Arirang” at Estadio GNP Seguros, nearly 150,000 fans transformed the concerts into a massive emotional singalong that many fans are already calling one of the loudest and most passionate crowds of the tour so far.
From the moment the members stepped on stage, the audience barely stopped singing. Fans shouted every lyric in Korean word-for-word, creating a deafening chorus that echoed throughout the stadium. Even during quieter emotional moments, the crowd continued harmonizing with the group, turning the concerts into something that felt less like a performance and more like a shared experience between BTS and ARMY.
One of the most emotional highlights came during “Airplane Pt. 2.” The lyric “We goin’ from Mexico City” instantly sent the stadium into chaos, with tens of thousands of fans screaming the line back at the members at full volume. The reaction became so overwhelming that several clips of the moment quickly went viral online, with many fans describing it as “chills-inducing.”

The members themselves looked visibly moved by the response. Throughout the concerts, they repeatedly paused to listen to the crowd sing entire sections on their own. Cameras captured several members smiling in disbelief as fans continued singing even after the instrumental tracks faded.
The atmosphere extended far beyond the stadium walls. Local authorities estimated that around 35,000 additional fans gathered outside the venue during the second and third nights alone. Many who could not secure tickets stayed near the stadium just to hear the music and participate in fan chants from outside.
Videos circulating on social media showed entire streets surrounding the venue filled with fans waving lightsticks and singing along together. In some moments, the chants from outside were reportedly loud enough to be heard inside the stadium itself.

Mexican fans especially impressed international audiences with their energy and dedication. Despite Korean not being their native language, fans passionately sang nearly every song fluently, something many online called a testament to BTS’s global cultural impact.
At the end of the concert, the members emotionally thanked the audience, telling fans, “You were truly the best. We will definitely come back to Mexico.” They also spoke in Spanish, expressing gratitude for the unforgettable memories created during the concerts.
Many attendees described the concerts as feeling almost “spiritual,” with fans and artists feeding off each other’s energy throughout the night. Some longtime fans even compared the atmosphere to iconic BTS stadium shows from the group’s peak touring years before enlistment.

International media also highlighted the extraordinary crowd response. The Los Angeles Times noted that even people without tickets gathered around the venue simply to be part of the experience, emphasizing how BTS turned Mexico City into what many called a “city-wide celebration.”
For many fans, the concerts proved once again why BTS remains one of the most powerful live acts in the world — not just because of their performances, but because of the unique connection they create with audiences. In Mexico City, that connection was impossible to ignore as tens of thousands of voices sang together under the same sky.
